Use Accent Colors to Add Variety As Seasons Change

When ever I see houses that use a grey pallet I instantly want to curl up with a good book and hot cup of coffee. The use of this simple pallet allows endless accent possibilities that can be changed with the seasons. I like to use a warm earth tone pallet for my autumn accents. Borrowing natures fall color scheme such as orange, red or soft yellows would complement this nicely. Winter needs some bolder tones such as bright reds, silver and blues. Spring and Sumer need bright happy colors that reflect lots of light. Grey makes a wonderful backdrop for all these accent colors. Remember, use neutral wall colors and accent with colors as the seasons change to add verity.
