The UK National Poisons Information Service (NPIS) has reported that buy zopiclone tablets are being bought over the internet from sites without a prescription. The drugs are often sold in large quantities at a cheap price, which can be dangerous.
It is not known how long the drugs last, but they can be very addictive. If you have any questions about zopiclone, ask your GP.
Zopiclone can cause withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it suddenly. These can include a headache, sweating, and feeling unwell. Your GP will give you other treatments to help with these symptoms.
Avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking zopiclone. It can make you sleep more deeply and may stop the medication from working. It also makes you more likely to have daytime sleepiness. Drinking alcohol can make you feel tired, so you won't be able to wake up as quickly.
Common side effects of zopiclone include a dry mouth, daytime sleepiness, and a metallic taste in your mouth. These side effects usually go away after you have been taking the medicine for a few days.
Abuse and addiction
Imovane 7.5 mg is a very powerful sedative. It is not recommended for use by children or the elderly. It can be extremely addictive, and it should never be mixed with alcohol or other sedatives. It can also make a withdrawal from other sedatives more difficult to cope with.
Overdose and poisoning
If you have taken too much zopiclone, contact your GP as soon as possible. Your GP can give you some antidotes such as flumazenil to help with your symptoms.
